Yes it does and that's where Gene and I go in seperate
directions. Starfleet should have been the
military/exploration arm, but there should have been
more civilian manned ships ie. The Raven. Gene's
pollyannish view of the universe is one I don't share.
Just because we come in peace doesn't mean we'll be
accepted peacefully.
